Just did the upgrade.
Same problem "extra data".
There is no extra data.
There is no custom tune.
Device is unmarried.
Next; I will send you the VIN number and original tunes via email.

The reason why is because of the fact that GM dealership in this country keep monitoring those forums.

The last thing I want is to void my warranty because of this!

I hope this clear the picture.

And since it has been quite a while, let me update my Trinity and if all else fails, I will send you ...

Alright, I just tried it.. It basically gave me the error further, but I was persistent, and it managed to give me only ECM mods. I applied the mods, and drove, and concluded ECM mods were active. It gave me a hell of a hard time to restore original backup, but managed to do so.
The error remains ...

I noticed something just moments ago; when the tool was plugged, and I chose performance, it asked that the switch should be on ACC, which is the norm. I happened to press OK when the switch was off, and somehow I managed to get to the performance menu without the error message. I did not continue ...

The boss' 11 V returned the same error?

Confirmed; the problem started with the 1r09.
Prior to that, it was working perfectly well on the 1r08.
I verified that with the other trinity, which had the 1r08h --> worked
When it was updated to 1r09, it gave the same custom tune extra data error.
Both tools work on the Corvette perfectly well ...

Let me know if it helps that I send you the original calibrations/tunes, or the full VIN.
