Re: InTune Gear Ratio Changes?
Bringing this dead thread back to life.
Running into the same issue. Regeared from 3.73 to 4.56. My InTune does not give me the option to adjust gear ratio. Looking to get a tune with updated gear ratio baked into it.

Yes, that is how you load it to the tool, when you get to the truck, go through the advanced tune menu(you can tell it to skip the pcm control module) and then it will show a custom tune for the TCM. Just select that and load it up

Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
The biggest difference between the 8 and 6 speeds is how quickly they shift from the factory. I've sped that up in the TCM tunes, but we're talking about milliseconds
Post your files up from the tool and I'll make some adjustments for you.

Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
I tried it again this morning just normal driving not WOT and the 1-2 2-3 shifts have a hesitation not even close to as good as stock the only thing I liked about this tranny was the first three shifts cause it felt like it has a tune as it had a firm fast shifts. But now its not as good with this ...

Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
I gave it some time and I've tried both "Hard" and "Firm" shifts but no real noticeable difference from what I feel. Not sure which one is supposed to shift harder. You're right about the 8 speeds wanting to shift faster. I had a 2013 6.2/6 spd and it would chirp the tires when I'd get on it even ...

Re: 2015 6.2l 8 speed
The user adjustable parameters are there so that you can customize the way the transmission shifts to your liking. I would say the majority of customers have no desire to raise the shift rpm in their trucks, so we leave raising it up to the individuals that prefer it to shift higher. That's why we ...

I think I know why nobody talks about the tranny tune for the 8 speeds I loaded mine firm shift not hard but it shifts

We need a Stick car in house if you're local to the Sanford, FL area and wouldn't mind letting us use it for a few days.
