RE: Re: RE: Can I save a modified canned tune as another tun

I am also having trouble with Import/Export. In my case, I have gotten an error message that my custom tune is invalid on entering the performance tune area. You cannot proceed past it either. I rebooted the tool, went to custom tunes, deleted it, and then rebooted. Works fine again.

I will play ...

I also have this effect on my Charger, and I think it may be in part to the added timing we run in our tunes. I accept the fact that the further I get away from a stock tune the harder it is for my car to make a smooth transition from hitting on 4 to all 8 cylinders again.

I think that the canned ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Error - Autostick disable not working

They has been limited by the PCM's design. Instead of being able to program a numerical value, DS can only give us "stock" or "increased", and the amount of increase is not variable, not due to DS, but due to the Hemi PCM software design.

It basicly means Dodge does not want us tangling with it ...

Menu Maps

Glad you are finding this helpful!

There are two Menu Map sheets, and the spreadsheets are in MS Excel format. Microsoft offers a free Excel spreadsheet viewer here:

Folks, I spoke with DS on the phone in regards to getting a good Loggable AFR from the PIDs available and we cannot do it.

The narrowband sensors on the car cannot accurately read your AFR - yes, it is confusing that there is a big, handy guage that says it is AFR, but it is "guessing" based on ...

RE: Air Allways on!!

Yea, if you have a 180o F Thermostat, Diablosport authorized me to lower the fan temps in the canned tune by 5 degrees.

This leaves you with High Speed and Medium Speed settings of 193.99 and Low Speed settings of 183.99 its what I run and it is keeping the car cooler.

If all your settings are ...

Effect of Disabling the EGR on 5.7 Hemi

Hello,

First off I am very pleased with my Predator - it was well worth it!

Can you tell me what the Disable EGR does? Does it stop opening the EGR, or quit reporting errors if we unlug it?

Thanks.

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Which Gasoline Octanes Are Supported

We only plan to offer the 87 octane tunes in the Predators for the trucks.
If you want to use 89 octane, you can do so by using the 91 octane tune and removing 2* of timing through the rpm range, which would be back to stock timing.

Thanks

OK, so for an 89 tune, take the 91 tune, retard 2o ...

91 octane tune...for use with at least 91 octane fuel.
93 octane tune...for use with minimum of 93 octane fuel.

Thanks

Hi Mike,

I am sure I read it was ok to run 89 octane with one of the advanced tunes - it was a selling point for me as Gas prices here are ridiculous.

If you cannot run 89 in ...

Which Gasoline Octanes Are Supported By 91 93 Canned Tunes?

Hi DiabloSport folks,

I saw this answer once, and after searching all over cannot find your official statement!

Please tell me what Octane(s) the U7135 Predator 91 and 93 Octane Canned Tunes support.

Thanks!
