Re: BMW N63/S63

The old 5 and 6 speeds in BMWs were not good transmissions. They're slow to shift and like to get to the higher gears as soon as possible. The new 8 speeds are amazing. They'll actually hold the lower gears, which makes them significantly quicker. All the magazines are showing them to be quicker ...

Re: BMW N63/S63

I have had good luck with my 545i so far, approaching 100k miles and it has taken a beating. I ran 13.33@106 with it earlier this year and trapped as high as 108. That was with my winter setup still on it LOL Tiny 215/50 17 Blizzaks so no warming up the tires at all. ONLY mod is a muffler delete for ...

What is the problem? What is the car doing? There are a lot of issues with the 2 piece spark plugs in those cars if you have a misfire that may be it. The programmer is not going to cause ignition problems.

You need a custom tune in order to use a 90mm MAF on your car. PM me if you have more querstions.

RE: FRRP cai with Steeda tune

On setting 0 is is not doing anything at all, you really don't need a MAFia until you are maxing out the range of the stock MAF.

RE: 2005 mustang gt with air induction running lean

AFE claims no tune required, but I don't know if they have a reducer or not on the inside. I'll have to check there site. You could try adding 8% to the MAF transfer for now. Have you checked the fuel trims at all?

RE: Lossing HP with my predator not gaining?????

What revision is it?? I ran one on my personal car (a 98 GT) and it was one of my few mods and I ran [email protected] with stock 2.73's still. You should not have to be adding 28% fuel. Did you log the runs stock? What are your fuel trims? Fuel pump duty cycle? MAF voltage?

If you have the newer firmware you will need to get them turned off via a custom tune.

Good job dialing it in! I had to do alot to get my '04 F150 dialed in with the AEM kit, that was before the latest revision had came out though.

Return your truck to stock and update the Predator via the revision on the site. Here is a link.

RE: Shift Firmness Settings

Too much added pressure is hard on the pump but some will be ok. Leave the WOT settings alone and just bump up the part throttle, start out low and see how you like it.

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? May seem like a dumb question but I've seen this more than once.

RE: Automatic transmission slipping

If you did the engine swap and are still running the stock 98 ECU you should have a custom tune for everything to work correctly.
