RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Found a Viewer Link
Actually, these Hemis, in our testing, liked to be in the low 12:1 range for peak power.
Thanks for catching that, I was going off memory and not looking at my notes. Between all the thread and forums I have been reading and learning from I have a hard time remembering.
Can you just change ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Found a Viewer Link
12.8 is supposedly the sweet spot, but the problem you will have is that our sensors are not widebands and there for are not giving you accurate A/F readings. Some of those who have the widebands have reported a +/- of 1. If the car is stock or pretty close to that you should be pretty accurate, but ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Found a Viewer Link
Right now the PIDs I have been keeping an eye on are Ambient Temp, Engine Coolant Temp, IN MAN AIR TEMP, IN MAN GAS TEMP, Battery Volt, Oil Pressure Sensor PSI, TOTAL COIL DWELL 1 and 2, Actual Spark Cyl 1, Base Spark, Ignition Cycle Count(honestly do not know why I am watching this one), Barometric ...

I can help you out with the datalogging issue. I will try to get everything on here and post it tomorrow. Trust me, at first it is confusing, but once you get going it is pretty simple. Two things so far, my AFR PID is named Open Loop FA, timing is measured by the spark of each cylinder, and I cant ...

RE: Still 2 issues
Something else you might try. When I first installed the Predator I noticed that she was a better car but not what I expected. Then I had the infamous Limp Mode show up one day. I took it back to stock and then reloaded the tune. I figured that I would get about the same performance as before, but ...

RE: Still 2 issues
Try the datalogging to see if any of the parameters have changed. Thats proabably the best way to tell if everything is taking or not.

Could it be pre-ignition? I dont know the extent of your auto knowledge, but there can be several things that sound like rocker noise. Just trying to help.

Turning off your KR sensors is liking getting rid of your car insurance. The only time I would ever turn them off is if they are getting false knock and you know it for sure, and if that was the case I would try to fix that problem instead of turning them off. These vehicles are suspect to Knock ...

The way I understand it, Torque Management is reduced with the canned tunes. That is what is allowing you to bust the tires loose where you could not before. Also with the ESP turned off or reduced by all the different ways out there you can get even better burn outs. HAL has to much control over ...

They also turn MDS off when they have a cam that MDS can not handle.

Well I still have not found out if the EGR delete option turns the EGR off or just the sensor, but the O2 rear sensor delete option is for those that have either removed the sensor or those that have long tube headers. Both of these throw codes and with the Diablo you can make the PCM quit throwing ...

RE: Couple Issues - need some advice
In order for you to get a true reading on your car use your Diablo to turn the ESP off, this will put you into a dyno/emission test mode so that HAL is not pulling anything. Your readings are going to be off without doing this. Some will tell you to just push the button, but this does not disable it ...
