Do any of the shift firmness or any of the other transmission adjustments affect a manual transmission? U7146 98 Cobra

the car is a 98 Cobra and predator is a u7146

If I have my diablo tune in my car and the battery dies does it reset the tune to the stock tune or does the diablo tune stay in the car?
