Okay. Great to know.

Is there anything I need to do, or mention when I send this PCM in, regarding the stock tuning being changed from R/T to SRT? Should I send it to you attention, or anything?

Thanks
Abe

Unlocking a PCM for a 2015 Challenger

Here's a question,

I have a 2015 Challenger SRT, as well as a Trinity tuner. I know I need to have my PCM unlocked, or purchased another PCM to have unlocked, whether through you, or the dealer to tune the car.

However, here's my question. I have access to a PCM out of a 2015 Challenger R/T that's ...

Re: Possible 2015 Challenger PCM Purchase

Thank you for the reply!

So, just to be 100% clear for me on this matter. This is an unlocked and prepped PCM purchased from you guys we're talking about, and not just a store-bought, blank PCM.

That being the case, it still has to be sent back to you before I could use it?
Is this a VIN ...

Possible 2015 Challenger PCM Purchase

Hi guys. Quick question here.

Someone on the forums I'm part of is selling a brand new, never installed, "unlocked" 2015 PCM they recently purchased from you for their 2015 Challenger Scat Pack.

If I were to purchase this PCM from them and would I be able to install it in my 2015 Challenger SRT ...

He means, do you have more wheel spin now. Are you finding it harder to get traction from the rear tires, especially from a standing stop...

RE:

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a shot.

Just a question, though. Will I have to seek you guys for a special tune like this every time there's an update?

If so, is there a better fix for this? If not, would I need to sell my current unit and buy a newer one, since I don't plan on going backwards in ...

'09 SRT8 Challenger 6-speed. Can't update my Predator for it

Hey folks. I've been going through the threads, and it seems some others have had my problem..

I've had my U7135 programmer for a few years. It's been used on '07 and '08, SRT8 Chargers. Well, now I'm getting an '09 SRT8 Challenger 6-speed. And, I need to update the programmer, but I can't load any ...

RE: RICH<----------------->LEAN Question??

Wow, after reading this, I'm going to put my WOT fuel adjustment back to center, no increase/decrease in %. I found it odd that "Rich" was to the left and "Lean" was to the right when I installed the 9r01 version.

RE: Re: RE: Re: P0158 Problem

Yeah, I hear ya. I've been happy with the 9r01 programming's performance, as well as it's ability to remove those codes, especially since I do have hi-flow cats. With previous programming versions, the 02 codes would pop up quite frequently. You "should" be happy with the 9r01 programming. Now, if ...

RE: Re: RE: Re: P0158 Problem

Yes, you can. Of course you know you need to reinstall the stock programming for the car, so that the 9r02 programming's in the Predator. Then, go to your computer and download 9r01 to your Predator, it will overwirte the 9r02 programming, and then install the 9r01 programming in the car. I'm sure ...

RE: Re: P0158 Problem

Just asking, but did you ever run the 9r01 program version? I know the 01 and 02 versions are supposed to be the same, but I'm running the 01 programming and haven't had a P0158 code since installing it, and shutting my rear o2s down. This has been for several weeks now.

RE: New Shift Points? HELP?

Just asking, but how do you know it's not shifting at 6400? I only ask, because if you're simply watching the tach in the dash, it's not a tell-tale sign of shift rpm, as the engine revs too fast in first, and sometimes second gear for that tach to keep up. If you haven't already done so, go into ...

RE: Tune Help

Well, you don't have many choices with an SRT8. Your only option is "raised shift Points", period. Simply chose that option, and the shift points will be raised 200rpm (shifts will occur at 6400rpm now), and the rev limiter will also be raised accordingly, and automaticly. Some guys have had thier ...
