Re: Hey Mike.....
Current development is a physical handheld device, but thats just for starters. Does Dinan know that? Their Tech Support told me "I don't have an ETA on any hand held option at the moment. We are currently working on a flash tune option for that platform now but that is the only thing that is ...

Re: Hey Mike.....
Cool. It would be amazing if somehow the handheld could talk to a phone and then have logging data displayed on the center screen via CarPlay. Or if the handheld was Android based and could display without a phone. I think that’s definitely something that’s missing on the market currently that would...

Re: Hey Mike.....
When they're ready for an N63B tester, you know where to find me. I'm always available for Sanford. Not so much Alabama.

AWD Dyno?
Just curious who you guys are using for dynoing AWD vehicles? Pretty sure both dynos I saw on site are just 2WD. New car is in customs now, so it should be here in a week or two. Gonna do a quick 1,000 mile break in and then it needs a baseline dyno test. They may advertise 523hp, 553lb/ft, but I’d ...

Re: Support ctv4 support?
I am finding no tuning for them at all, even by the normal Cadillac tuners like D3.
If I had to guess, I’d say Banks may be the first to tune it. I know Gale got one of the CT6-Vs, so if he’s anything like the rest of us, he can’t leave anything alone and will probably dig into it.

Re: Support ctv4 support?
Maybe the higher tech LTA for the Platinum and the LT4 for the V? Reading up on the Blackwing, I don't know if I could trust it. There seem to have been quite a few low mileage failures, requiring replacement. Wondering if theres some kind of engineering issue with them, or if the failures were due ...

Re: Support ctv4 support?
The CT6-V was produced in very limited numbers. That hurt it from the outset. Knowing they were only going to be building them for a few months pretty much killed the market. That meant that the aftermarket wasn’t going to touch it, and part availability was going to be scarce. After dealing with tr...

Re: Support ctv4 support?
Definitely agree. I'm not seeing them selling many at all. Every publication rips on the things. They're just not very good sports sedans, especially when you compare them against the German competition (M240, CLA45, S3). When you're spending that much money, theres just no excuse for the half baked...

Re: Hey Mike.....
Thats where they all start. That gets them the M340, Supra, M3/M4 and X3M/X4M. And the B48 tuning is extremely similar to the B58, so that'll probably be next.mikel wrote: Off the top of my head, its B58, S58 and S55 to start.

Re: Hey Mike.....
The JB4 is working pretty well on the 2.0T. Decent gains, probably at least 40-45hp. Enough to make torque steer a pretty big issue, especially on WOT downshifts. It likes to kick down, spin the right front tire and then when it hooks up the truck shoots towards the curb/shoulder. We're having issue...

Re: Hey Mike.....
Yeah, but the problem is, they really charge for that work. Considering that nearly 90% of BMWs were leased last year, over a grand for a tune is very hard to justify, at least for me. Actual hardware that I could reset and resell (like a Trinity or inTune) would make it a helluva lot easier to just...

Re: Hey Mike.....
Does Steve still work with Dinan, or did he move on when he sold to Holley? His new company has a gnarly tune for the N63B. 698hp, 702 ft/lbs from the stock 523/553. You guys should just copy his tune. https://carbahnautoworks.com/product/cbgx-0001-smooth-power-flash-stage-1-software-for-2017-...

You can lock this. The truck is gone. Lost about $10k on it, but at least I don't have to look at it anymore.

Re: Hey Mike.....
Once you start getting into the M models you have 4 more variants of the motor. First came the S63 (10-13 X5M/X6M), then the S63TU had 2 versions (13-2017 M5/12-18 M6 and 15-19 X5M/X6M) and finally the current S63M in 2 states of tune (18-current M5, M6, M8, X5M, X6M). S63 - 555hp, 500lb/ft S63TU - ...

Re: Can't export LTW?
It worked without the disable tune, most of the time. I still have no idea what causes it to fuck up and not work.
