Since I have never added fuel to a tune before, how should I start out?

Also, I got in on some nice deals from BT and have a catch can on its way. Will do a full TB cleaning and will get as far into the manifold as I can ...

OK so it was nice out today ... got a full tank of Exxon in the car (last run was Shell). Installed the 91 CAI tune with raise shift points (instead of 93 CAI as before).

That was with 93 from Shell (basically the only station around me that offers 93 as premium!) I normally run the 91 tune in case I need to hit a station that only offers 92. Ill load the 91 CAI today before I leave work and will try to do the exact same log as I did last night to see if there is any ...

Basically I want to check for knock since I know these cars are quite prone to it, and see what I can dial out for the time being until I can get a catch can

I know how to get the predator to log a run but what is the preferred method?

From a stop just mash it and let the trans go through the gears?

From a stop just accelerate as normal through the gears?

A rolling 40-80 mph run at WOT?

Or just mix it up as much as possible until the unit runs out ...

Its EXACTLY what alot of us are having an issue with (ive posted about it several times). Seems like we are hitting the rev limiter -- and ive raised my rev limited by as much as 300 rpm and still hit it.

Well I have only run the canned tunes (no messing with anything besides raised shift points and rev limited) and with the 91 CAI tune the car just runs ALOT more smoothly. Idle is better, WOT is better --- NO HITTING THE LIMITER. Even downshifts seem to happen at the right times!

I think it runs MUCH better on the 91 tune (while still running 93 octane gas)

I dont know enough about this to just go out and randomly mess with fuel and timing to get the 93 running right

So I was bored yesterday and decided to try the 91 CAI tune in my 07 SRT8 Charger to see if I felt any real difference between it and the 93 CAI Tune

From what I can tell so far, I cant feel a difference between the tunes

So unlike every other car ive owned, that when the CEL came on the PCM went into closed loop and added additional fuel ... this one doesnt?

Its the Low Temp Thermostat code that went off

And the factory programs the PCM based on what tire option you choose?

When I got my Pred. it came with r14 .. car ran well.

Updated to 16a ... seemed even better

Updated to 17 ... felt terrible, would bang into gears, hold gears too long when it should shift down, not as "strong", etc

Downgraded back ...

My Predator came with the r14 tune and I honestly think i prefer that tune to the new r18 I am running right now.

Is there anyway I can obtain the tunes from r14 till current so I can try them all and see which is performing the best?
