Damn I keep remembering things to tell you. My truck did the DoD thing with the stock exhaust and the Magnaflow...didnt matter... it changed from 4 to 8 all the freaking time. Drove me nuts! My gas mileage was slightly better with the DoD off but have to use premium now...oh well...the peace of mind ...

Damn me again forgot to tell you
Hey I also wanted to tell you I have a 28" Stainless Magnaflow exhaust single muffler with dual rear outlets and it really sounds good now with the dumb DoD disabled. Not too loud in cab but a very nice note outside! Very pleased with it. Ran about $500 for system plus tips. I used rear exit 2 x 6 ...

Okay heres the scoop!
Hey HateDOD. I too HATE and I mean HATE the DoD crap. I have exactly the same truck as you. It did the same exact crap yours is doing. I got the predator and updated it with the latest software update version 10. I used the Diablotune which is the 93 octane tune and turned off the DoD during the ...

I can tell you from experience that turning off the DoD aka Active Fuel Management was the BEST thing that ever happened for my truck. 2007 NBS Chevy Silverado w/ 6.0 Vortec Max. My truck ran like crap with DoD activated...it surged and was very noticeable going in and out of 4 to 8 cylinders. I ...

Maybe
Hey I had a similar problem with my corvette and it turned out to be a faulty TPS sensor. Intermittent high idle...1.5-2k rpm. Installed new one and fixed the problem. Its a reasonably priced item so might be worth a try. Just my 2 cents worth. Good Luck.

Hot Damn! A New Truck!
Well after being very frustrated with my 2007 NBS Silverado with the 6.0l Vortec Max due to the bullshit Active Fuel Management and the terrible performance I am EXTREMELY PLEASED to tell Diablosport that their Predator U7194 just saved me going and buying a new dodge and replacing my current new ...

I totally agree that customer service and honesty are top priority! It is the lifeblood of ANY business! I also understand that some assurances here have been misleading as well as documentation that leads one to believe they are getting something and they actually get something different. But....we ...

I have same truck model and will be programming very soon when unit arrives. Some hints would sure be helpful, especially regarding the torque management stuff ...

More info about 2007 NBS Silverado
Has been to 2 different dealers service shops now and the 2nd dealer sent a mechanic for a ride along. He was very reasonable and informed me that the new silverados and maybe other makes act this way. WELL....if this is normal then I recommend NOBODY buy one of these trucks(unless you plan to use a ...

HELP! Ithink Im getting the run around from chevy dealer!
Okay here goes. Have 2500 miles on NBS 2007 silverado LTZ 6.0l with Max trailering. Having rough idle problems ...subtle but present. Also having what seems to be shifting problems/slight surging/tugging when under load and in V8 mode (not going back and forth form v8 to v4 mode either). Sorta acts ...

RE: u7194 on 07 nbs 6.0
Just needed to know. Is the fuse removal for the Onstar just for interruption purposes while programming or does it stay out as long as the new tune is installed? Dont know much about Onstar's ability to see the tunes on the vehicle...Wasnt sure if it is a warranty issue. Thanks.

I dont have a dyno sheet for the 5.3, but gains are similar, on the order of 15-20 rwhp.
AFM will be able to be disabled in the next revision due out soon.
Thanks Heya. Is the AFM removal a for sure deal? I hate ACTIVE FUEL MANAGEMENT! The sooner I can turn off... the better! It will guarantee I ...
