My current project is a 96 Jeep Grand Cherokee w/ the 4.0 I6. Since Diablosport doesn't support this vehicle, and it seems like no one else does except Hypertch (and their tool is just a canned tool, no adjustments), does anyone out here have any ideas on how I can remap this PCM?

The dealer could probably flash you BCM with a different program w/o TPMS.

Not sure if the `10's have the option, but on my 04 programmer, you have a w/ ETC and w/o ETC limiter. Make sure both are set to max.

I was considering getting a cam for my 5.3... but the truck still has to be a reliable daily driver.

I found my stock calibration, on stock tires and stock gears, was a couple of MPH off compared to my GPS. (TomTom Go 320s). I also compared it to my older Magellan Sport Trak and both my GPS's read the same.

IIRC, I have the same tires on my 04 Silverado. Ended up adjusting tire size by height instead of size. Works quite well...

I am not sure about the 09s, but mine had two options... ETC and non ETC..... make sure both are set to end of range

Hope you have some beefiness in the tranny. The 4L60E is not really known for being good in pulling heavy loads.

I have an 04 Silverado as well, w/ the 5.3, and the previous owner was towing a huge trailer. It had to go to the dealer at 34k to have the tranny rebuilt. (I bought it at 32k).

There is no TCM support. It is all in your imagination. You didn't this message... it doesn't exist...

Seriously... TCM support is not a big deal. From what I have been told by my sources, it doesn't make that much of a difference. Yeah, it was promised, but so was Class II support for the Trinity ...

fadhil - There is no guide or document on how to adjust it. When you adjust spark from the tool, it adjusts to a curve. The only RIGHT, PROPER way to adjust spark is to have your vehicle run on a chassis dynamometer. The technician who does the programming will know how to properly set the timing to ...

I had the same issue, with larger tires. Ended up using the tire height instead of the actual tire size...

My truck has the same problem... but with or without the tune.... Never did figure out what the problem is/was... I just bumped up the RPM by 100, and it's been good.
