Need to have my U7194 unlocked
I am the original owner of a U7194 Predator purchased in November 2007. The tool is married to my old 2007 Corvette. Recently I traded this Corvette for a 2011 Corvette. My Predator still has the backup from the 2007 in memory since I never restored the original before trading. I need to get this ...

Mikel, if you send me the details I will be happy to print them out, put the printed pages into a container of some sort, and bury it up north somewhere near the Groom Lake area (I live in Las Vegs) ... just a thought ...mikel wrote:Conspiracy theories abound.....

Why is TCM support so important?
See the above question. I am not asking what TCM tweaking is, I am asking why it is so important to you (anyone reading this) specifically. What do you think you will be able to do with it? I know a few tuners out there making incredible claims about improving shifting in the paddle shifted Corvette ...

2009 Corvette support?
I spoke with a tuner, they use LS Edit and are having no problems tuning the 09 Corvettes. I was informed that my U7194 will not work with my new '09 Corvette even with the 9r05 update. Do you plan on an update to the tool to support this car? Thanks for any info.

Re: RE: 2009 Corvette and 9r05
Are you kidding me?! I was just asking to verify so I could start tweaking and now you're telling me I can't use it. Damn. That just sucks!mikel wrote:They use a different template for tuning...LostAngel wrote:That sucks...what all is different?
Should I sell it or wait until the '09 is supported?

2009 Corvette and 9r05
I just traded my '07 Corvette for an '09 Corvette. I restored the original backup to the '07 and reset the tool. Then I updated the crom to 9r05. Everything worked out nicely so far. My question is, will this support the 2009 Corvette now? In terms of the Engine I am not aware of any differences ...

still no TCM for C6 A6?
I take it the latest rev for the 7194 that adds LS3/LS7 support still doesn't have the TCM tweaks we've all been waiting for? If this is true than there is no reason for me to update my Predator (currently at 8r07) with the 9r05 - correct? Please advise, thanks!

normal behavior
jm - there is no way to get rid of the minor "pinging" you describe if you are lugging or short shifting the transmission. Even on my A6, since it behaves like a manual - in other words I can short shift and lug - I will notice very minor pinging in this situation. I wouldn't give it another thought ...

Yes, accessory mode is correct.
Actually the best way to do it to avoid potential problems is to put it in "Run" mode which is accomplished by pushing and holding the bottom of the Start button until you're in run ... you can tell cause the Dash will come to life just like you are starting the ...

MDS on a 5.7 Ram 1500
I just purchased an '07 Ram with a 5.7 HEMI. It has 14k miles on it so it's practically brand new. It's bone stock with an auto trans and no mods. I have noticed that it seems to run/idle rough but it's very subtle. When you give it enough gas it runs smooth and accelerates very nicely considering ...
