i just updated from 9r06 to 9r17 on my '06 Daytona (5.7L) and i am having some shifting issues in autostick mode. in 9r06 it would upshift almost immediately whenever i hit the stick, but in 9r17 it will not upshift while i am giving it more than half throttle. once i let off the gas, it will go ...

i have a 2006 5.7L Charger. what is the lowest rpm i can safely set my idle to? i have it set to 500 and absolutely love the way it makes the exhaust sound, but it got me wondering if its safe... or can i go lower?

this is going to sound crazy, but someone on chargerforums (X E Ryder) suggested i return the car to stock, then disconnect the battery for an hour, and try reinstalling the tune. IT WORKED!!!

The car is behaving perfectly! Autostick shifts are now immediate and i can only choose between 1-2 ...

update:

i just tried removing the increased shift firmness and increased shift points, but it is still acting the same.

also: i can select any gear i want while at a stoplight but it will always start in 1 regardless of what gear i have selected and displayed on the dash.

please help!

my fans are running constantly with the canned 93 CAI tune, that is the problem. the only reason i don't want to change the thermostat is for warranty reasons. i can always return the car to stock tune before i take it in, but i don't want to go through having to change the thermostat back every ...

ok... i have read about 30 threads on this subject, and i still can't find a definitive answer. please don't tell me to change my t-stat, i have already decided that i am not going to. could someone post the optimal fan settings for running the 93 CAI tune with a stock t-stat on an '06 Charger R/T?
