Can a 50 state legal I3 be updated for custom tuning

I've got a customers car I'm tuning and it appears he has a 50 state legal I3. Can this be updated so that I can do custom tuning with it?

Sorry about the time away...

I really feel that the surge is from a lean/rich condition... I've had a few cars that really needed that O2 sensor delay to get rid of the accel and decel surge (decel more than anything). Some really have no issues, some are just stubborn, like this truck.

RE: Surging Problem

The log looks as such: As the short term fuel trims get real rich, the rpm starts to fall. when they finally figure out there is too much fuel in the exhaust stream, they pull a bunch of fuel, and the rpms jump back on target, overshoot lean, and start to fall again. It then repeats.

Cant' load tune to 05 Rumble bee

I'm a CMR tuner and need to load a tune to an 05 rumble bee to get the original backup but there is an ID conflict and I can get anyone on the phone. I updated to the 9r5 CROM and no help and it's not giving me a CalID update prompt. Any ideas?

how do I download CMR

I purchased CMR back in Nov and my partner downloaded one to his computer but I have since gone off on my own and need to download the CMR so I can use it to tune customers vehicles. I can't figure out how to download it to my computer.
