Sorry, I forgot to mention that in my post. I thought just doing a few pulls on a quiet country road to see what my AFR is at WOT would suffice. After reading most the posts on this forum, I think I got a handle on how to log and tweak the tune without blowing up the engine. Thanks for all the help ...

I let the car warmup for ~1/2 hr or so before I did the log, but I was on a back road (middle of nowhere with no cops). I wasn't keeping a very constant speed or engine rpms between WOTs and slowing down frequently. Could this have effected the LTFTs? I did some other logs the same night, same ...

Lew,I have posted a new log that has both engine and vehicle speed. I notice that get around 1-2 degrees of knock when I mash on the pedal. Is this due to downshifting? I have an A4 trans.

Thx for the reply!!

Hey 1st6.0gto no qualms here. How's your car doing? I know I’d be a little torqued if my car tanked. I understand, you paid a lot money and no support, but you have to admit these guys at Diablo are a lot better than most. At least, we’re not talking to some clueless Indian tech half way around ...

Lew, you quite articulate and your choice of words and mastery over the visual basic language (DSlogRedux) imply that you have technical background. Are you a ME? Anyway, your explanation is clear, short and to the point. It's nice to have you on this forum. I was wondering (after softening you up a ...

Is there at least some parameters that can be logged which monitor performance for A4 trans, e.g., shift speed or rpm level when the gear was changed?

Huh,

I thought it attached. Oh I see the problem, the system does not allow csv extension. Okay, I will zip it. BTW I am using the 91 octane tune with no mods.

Thanks Lew for the quick response.

How should alter my tune for temperature and weather?

Firstly, I would like to thank diablosport for making a good product. In this day and age, plug and play is actually an acronym for -may work afters hours of downloads to fix bugs. Your product worked right-out-of-the-box 8) !! Secondly, the programmer would not be any fun without the great threads ...

bad gas and oh-boy does it smell

I also had troubles with KR and generic gas. I am running a 91 octane tune and like an idiot, cheap SOB, I put COSTCO gas  in my GTO--WHAT A MISTAKE!! On my sub-par gas, I was getting 3-5 degrees of KR at WOT. I would also prescribe one tank of good gas and no tune mods, and see if ...
