Adding headers

I own the 7191 Pred. I have the Diablo tune with the suggested mods. in place for the tune. After my Blackwing install, I adj. my fuel trims and fan settings with the 160 degree thermostat as well.

I am adding a set of long headers with catted x pipes. Should I reinstall the stock factory tune and ...

Re: RE: Re: High octane tunes and gas mileage?

I don't know what Grumpy just explained but here's mine:
I drive a 2005 Corvette C6 with an LS2 motor. I am averaging now 21-23.8 mpg and getting between 26-28 mpg on the highway cruising at 80mph.
I am running the 93 octane performance tune and have dialed in my LTFT's and my PE's thanks to Lew ...

RE: Re: RE: 06 C6 LTFT Question

Stock was -5% decrease on the LTFT's. Added the Blackwing and got a recom. from Redux. to go to another -7%. Total is -12%. Just did another log and it recom. a +1%. I done at -11% now. My Ltft Bank one is now with the adj. at -.29847% and my Bank 2 is at -1.39564%

Sound good?

I'm off to do some ...

RE: 06 C6 LTFT Question

Do you want to laugh? I just bought his Balckwing CAI from him off the Corvette Forum. I put it on today and my first log told me to adjust my LTFT's by -12%. LOL
I'm stock with Magnaflow mufflers only, no headers or cats.
I was wondering if -12% was a bit much. My K&N drop ins only required -7%. I ...

RE: Re: RE: I think I broke it BAD!!!

I wonder how this turned out. I did something very similar. I was stuck at a turnpike rest station after I incorrectly downloaded something wrong. Thank goodness Mike answered the phone in tech support and forced the stock tune back in my car. Car runs like a champ now with the 93 octane tune ...

RE: PE adjustments on new 9t08nl update

I'm new to this but in my logging's for my vette, I've learned that the slightest thing, changes your adjustments. The revision probably didn't change anything to do with your PE adj.

How long has it been since you last logged under that old revision? The outside temp. could be different, gas ...

RE: ttt

Ok, but what about the WOT? Did I do something wrong not to get any info on the low RPM PE? I got the higher rpm recommendation both times. Do I just adjust the high and leave the low? It seems the car was lean on the bottom and rich on the top end.

RE: ttt

I wasn't planing on buying it but it kind of fell into my lap. I guess I'm back to square one? One question and I think I understand what I need to do. I never got any reading on the lower rpm PE adj. for my WOT logs on Redux. Did I do something wrong? Do I adjust the low the same as the high RPM ...

RE: ttt

Guess what? I just bought a Blackwing CAI for my Vette. It will be here in a few days. Will it throw all my numbers off and have to start all over? I was running a stock intake with K&N drop in replacement filters before with those numbers.
