Full stock tune or set the Intune to Modified Stock?Mike_Levy wrote:For the winter, a lot of people remove the tune. With the tune installed, theres no Torque Management, so the traction control and ESP is virtually useless.

06 Charger Octane
I have been using the CAI tune on my 06 Charger RT. I had decent results (except for the Transmission Mode 2 and Mode 2). Anyways, the cost of gas is high, and we are getting closer to winter so I tried to switch to a 87 octane tune. I plugged it in and there was no 87 tune. There is stock, 91, 91 ...

Re: Early 05 300c problem
I believe mine did this as well. I had to switch back and forth to the car & computer. I saw someone on the Charger forum write a different set of instructions. I got the tuner, plugged it into the car and it didn't work. Plugged it into the laptop and let it update completely. Plug it into the car ...

Re: Auto-Stick
The issue I have is I like the way Mode 1 feels when it shifts. I just think it is delayed when it shifts. In Stock the car will shift early before I want it to. I switch to Mode 1 and it feels right, the issue is it is delayed a couple milliseconds causing a shift to become limp mode. If its not ...

Re: How is a custom tune better then a canned tune?
Every motor is unique. They wear different, run different, have different mods, etc. The custom tune is set for your setup only. It it made to work in your car with the best possible settings. The canned tunes are a generic tune that will work across the boards with everyone's setup.

Re: About to buy an intune but have one last worry
I can't give you an answer for sure but I believe it has happened before. You could always save the stock tune on a couple devices to be sure but I believe there is a way to reset everything at the dealer if needed.

Auto-Stick
Since no one is answering my thread/ has no answer except it shouldn't do that I have to start something new I guess.
I set my Charger's Auto-Stick to Mode 1. The shifts are great if you hit them right on point. If you shift a split second too late the car will trip into limp mode and needs to be ...

Re: Tranny trouble =(
May be a stupid question, but how is the tranny fluid level? I know its not easy to check and typically needs to be checked at a dealer but you need to make sure its not low. If its low, it could cause the temp to go up quick and things to operate weird. Just a thought.

Re: MY INTUNE
The "Diablosport Tune" is the 93oct tune & the "CAI Tune" is the 93oct tune with a CAI. As for the 180deg T-stat that is in the additional settings. You will also find the firmer shifts, Reset TCM adaptation, etc.
As for the 91 tune, you can run a 93 in the tank with the 91 tune. You can always ...

Re: Tranny trouble =(
Was it running fine with the tune? I know when my Charger hits limp mode the engine RPMs will go up but the car won't pull at all. But soon as you turn off the car and turn it back on it is fine.
Do you see a CEL? What about when you run the inTune's engine diagnostics? Any codes come up?

Re: Limp Mode Issues
When I have it set to stock I have no issues. I tested this theory a couple times today and it worked as expected. Instead of hitting limp mode the car would shift. It does shift early in the stock setting but it doesn't kick into limp mode. I like the higher rev before shifting in Mode 1 but if you ...
