if it was the v6 eclipse i don't think you would have beat it anyways. The v6's are fast whether your tuned properly or not

I did a log while driving to work yesterday in my 04 5.3 1500. I also have an afe intake and a single in dual out flowmaster 40 catback. My ltft readings were about 7.4 at 1900 rpm on the highway. I set it to -7 or -8 in the programmer i can't remember, but i have a question.

thats normal man. i have an 04 5.3 with an afe intake and flowmaster 40s and i get the messages "service brake system", "engine power reduced", and "service 4wd"

atleast i hope its normal.....

right but it was more of like a guide line. He should be able to set his own slope. It's not that hard

injector slope -7
shift quickness set a little quicker for all gears
torque managment first two turned off and last one is on
top ...

performance tune with 93 octane
injector slope -7
adjust the shift quickness so it shifts faster
adjust for gears
adjust for tire size

i can't think of anything else right now but i'll see if i have anything else done

I read on here that increasing the shift quickness actually does nothing but i may be wrong.
