RE: OK what the hell
Sounds like we're on the same boat to nowhere. Thats why I decided to return my slope back to 0 and let the computer do its thing! It seems our vehicles will set the trims to where it wants anyway and its no fun trying to readjust slopes every time they change. Plus I've reflashed my PCM (with ...

RE: OK what the hell
Then what is the point of adjusting the injector slope? I can adjust my slope to -6, and after several weeks it will eventually return to +1.xx! This appears to be the preferred LTFT in my computer. Now my settings still say -6(not my actual settings just an example; I leave my injector slope @ 0.00 ...

RE: OK what the hell
I too have experienced this in my truck. I stopped trying to tune with the LTFTs and bought an Inovate wideband O2. Every time I adjusted my trims; a few weeks later they were back! I started tuning with the wideband and could actually see this happening. I adjusted the trims to run very rich and ...

it feels nice! i think the dyno sheet showed around 31 rwhp increase, and 27 rwtq, it sounds a lot better and deeper. it definately pulls harder, it comes on hard around 2500 rpm, and with my stall, it makes leaving from a dig very difficult! my tires hate me.
I bet they do. LOL! 31rwhp is ...

Hey RED, how much of a difference does that cam make? I,ve been looking @ cranes 210/218 @ .531/.531 w/ 112 LSA. I'm just concerned with my tune afterwards. The 112 LSA should be a little choppier. I'm curious to hear how well your new tune works for you with that cam. Good Luck Buddy

RE: 06 5.3l Z-71... What next
I bumped up the WOT spark advance(+5%) in mine and it helped some. If you do this just keep a close eye on your KR @ WOT. It should stay @ 0.00. A short blip than back to 0.00 seems to be O.K. as long as it dosen't stay through out the WOT pass. Also, you may want to adjust your torque MGMT settings ...

RE: Re: RE: U7191 and granatelli MAF sensor...
I had the cold-air granatelli when i bought the predator. It threw my fuel trims and timing way out of whack. I just could not get them to stabillize. So I had to swap back in my descreened stock unit. After doing that they were fine. With that said, the descreened unit was giving me problems also ...

RE: Re: RE: custom tune
yea its odd from what I've been reading. Its rear O2 related. Something to do with an intrusion test performed by the PCM on the rear o2s. Seems to be an issue with 05, trucks possibly a program update from GM.

RE: Re: RE: custom tune
How bout it Mike, can you or Johan help me? The P2A01 & P2A04 reaccuring codes is starting to bug me. I've been reading other forums like PT.net and realized others(with 05' GM trucks) have deleted the rear o2s and have the same problem despite the different tuning software(s) being used. One post ...

Re: RE: custom tune
Mike, I drove for a while and let my LTFTs relearn @ -5%. I saved the custom tune on my PC and reinstalled the 93 tune on my truck to check the spark table(reading rather) and ran it to it settled down in the LTFTs. Then reloaded and installed the custom tune again. The base timing is definately an ...

RE: Two questions
Also, I just remembered there is a setting to adjust shift speed(amount of time it takes to shift from one gear to the next). You can try adjusting your 1-2 shift to happen quicker. May be a good idea to try this first.

RE: Two questions
In your modify tune settings: scroll down till you see Torque MgMt. press enter. You should be given three different TQ parameters to adjust. Scroll down to the last one and that is TQ upshift reduction. Press enter and then select "OFF" press enter again. I don't remember the exact labels without ...

RE: Two questions
Hey Ny, Do you still have TQ mgmt enabled? I have an 05' Avalanche and had a similar issue for a while until I completely disabled TQ mgmt. Mine would feel like a slip or pause for a split second(s) before engaing into 2nd gear. If this sounds like the same issue you have, try disabling upshift TQ ...
