You're both saying the same thing.
The stock sensors are narrowband A/F sensors. They have a *very* narrow range they operate in that's calibrated for 14.7:1. Outside of that they are only good for reading "rich" or "lean" and not how much rich or lean. So... when the PCM reports A/F it's a modeled ...

RE: Re: RE: GOT MY USED SPORT TODAY
Here, I'll give you another chance.
Why do you feel it's ok to unlock it yourself?
Stealing software is ok? In my book, stealing is stealing. Your book is different?
Stealing is ok because someone stole from you? or you got screwed? That makes stealing ok?
What part of "steal" don't you understand ...

Definite possibility. I'm sure there are plenty of people turning over stolen ones on ebay and the likes. Also pretty common when selling a car for people to use that as a selling point -- "... and it's been custom tuned for an extra 40 hp over stock." Then keep the tuner to sell it separately ...

RE: Re: RE: GOT MY USED SPORT TODAY
First off I doubt you unlocked it.
If you did, you're not licensed to use it and you're a crook. It's simple.
Even if you failed, you planned to steal it. At the very least you're ethically a crook. Probably legally too.
Now I'm sure life is hard for you.

well after alot of digging i found a free way and can now help others
That raises some interesting questions.
If you tried to crack software and failed, are you a crook? or just fail.

Dahahahaha, first you don't want to pay for a knew one. That's ok but there are always risks buying used.
Then you buy from a crook who screwed you. Not only did they charge you top dollar but they new it was locked and would cost you another $130 to unlock it. "Oh, gee, sorry about that man but I ...

Re: RE: Air,fuel mixture
The A/F parameter that the Predator can log is "commanded" afr. For a stock engine it should be pretty close. As soon as you add physical modifications it can diverge from actual afr.
after a while does it go back to 14.7 after adding mods?
Well, yes. Well within 6 seconds of closed loop ...

RE: JOHAN; Toon is throwing codes
You might try swapping out the O2 sensors next, if you're sure there isn't an air leak...
I think the fact that you're getting that code means it's less likely there is something wrong with the O2 sensors but maybe they got sprayed with something while they were changing the exhaust or something ...

If you select a tune file, then go to "Modify Parameters", there will be a "*" in front of parameters that *you* have changed.
As to what's set to where in the tune file itself, the answer is mostly "no".
When you go to modify parameters and select a particular parameter to modify, it will ...

It doesn't stack.
The following holds for both the supplied performance tunes and any custom tunes you may have:
The Predator does not modify the tune file on the handheld. It modifies a copy of the tune file as it loads it to the car (or uploads it to your PC).

Predator firmware is the CROMs
Car (PCM) firmware is the CALIDs
The Predator firmware will support a number of CALIDs (at least one).
Let's say the old CROM supported CALID B
Then over time, Chrysler goes to CALID C, then D, then E.
Newer versions of the CROM are released to support the new CALIDs ...
