Based on your experience, and Monte's advice... I replaced my "Powercore" filter with an AEM dry filter... 21-2100DK.

It "seems" better... Too soon to tell. Maybe it will help the MPG?? I need a few more miles before I can send Monte the required files for his "professional" tune...

I did not touch those parameters... And the ranges are for rpm??? That makes some sense I guess...

And you are right. All I get is the 87 Octane tune, which I disregard...

Actually I enter the Diablo tune menu... It gives a lot of changes. One change I did make was the rims/tire ...

Hi Blacky,

I know you are over at the SilveradoSeirra.com forum as well. So am I!!

You had trouble with the Volant CAI?? Interesting. I love mine. No problems at all. I also have the Power Core filter. Again, no cold start issues (I live in Michigan), DTC's or anything else.

My truck is a 2005 6 ...
