Log the ST/LT knock retard and try to replicate the scenario.
If you have more than 2 ST or ANY LT knock retard then you need to work on that first.
Try it with traction control off, and on to see if you get the same results.

Re: Diablotoona tuning
Hey sorry for the late response. I dont know what the deal is with this crappy PM system but my PM was stuck in the outbox.
If you have a catch can and are always using 93 octane then there is a chance that it might be false knock. Like I said before you want to get this sorted out before getting ...

Re: Diablotoona tuning
First off, if you are getting knock then you should get a catch can. Knock kills performance and fuel economy. How many miles do you have? Have you tried anything to combat the knock?
If your getting LT knock then I would first work on fixing it before getting a custom tune.

Re: 09 RAM 5.7 knock
The ST an LT knock read 0 ALL the time? At both part throttle and WOT? If so then you are perfect. 1-2 ST is acceptable.

Re: Throttle booster
Just for a few mods you dont really need a custom tune yet. I would only suggest getting one after you have installed all the bolt ons that you have planned. Headers replacement really shines with a custom tune but a CAI and muffler doesnt make enough change to warrant one.

Re: Parameters
Turning off traction control through the tuner only lasts one key cycle. So after you start the vehicle, then shut it down, it comes back on. Its pretty useless IMO.

Re: Custom tune or no
Yes a custom tune would benefit you more than using the canned tune. The headers is what really requires the custom tune as the canned tunes still leave a little on the table.
Go with Johan (diablotoona) or HemiFever and you will not be disappointed.

Re: 94 Octane
If I were you I would run the 93 tune on the 94 octane. Most people who monitor their performance notice quite a bit of knock on the 93 canned tune running 93, so you might be fine.
Load the 93 tune and fill up with 94 then monitor your ST Knock Retard 1-2 is acceptable.

Says this post was at 3am on sunday.... Do you really expect someone to pick up a phone at that time? Do you think Edge would have been any different?
Im sure if you just purchased it, then you are still within the time to get your refund.

It was a lot of assuming on purpose to try to drag a reply out of you
So here it goes again. By dissecting your replies it seems that it has in fact been considered, yet not high on the priority list.

Will we ever see trans options on the 11-14's? These 5500 rpm shift points are really limiting.mikel wrote:dunno who told you that.....but they are not correct.

Just heard a rumor that the TCM codes have been cracked and we might see trans tuning. Any truth to this?

Re: Octane level
I dont know if it is the same for all vehicles but on the last 4 dodge vehicles I have owned running 87 actually hurt gas mileage like Mike said. Running 91 octane increased my MPG so much that when I did the math I ended up saving more even though it costs more at the pump.
