Just to put this one to bed.....
Yes, I had 3.06 gears.
No, apparently the process used for my car is not the exactly the same as any other Charger.
No, the Trinity would not make the gear change.
A dealer tool had to be used to get in and make an adjustment in the BCM.
All in all, a major ...

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
No offense taken. I was unable to talk with the shop today, so I can't confirm whether or not there are asterisks around the 3.06 setting, or if the ratio has been confirmed. It sure wouldn't be the first time FCA has let me down.

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
I took my Mopar '11 to the shop last week to install a 3.06 Getrag in place of the factory 3.91 unit. They can't get the car to run even though the gear settings were changed to 3.06 via my Trinity. The car starts off normally, shifts from 1-2 and then immediately goes into 3rd and stays there. Even ...

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
Is there any reason to update my Trinity with the latest crom, 1r10a? I realize it was released to support the 2013's, but should I try to keep my device updated?

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
Is it realistic to hope that we will be able to raise our shift points anytime in the near future?

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
I am still having my custom tune worked on (I need to do some more data logging). I'm on revision 2 and I do not have raised shift points. I have not tried the 93 octane canned tune. We don't have that gas in my area.

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
After Installing 91 octane tune with 180 stat, fan adj. We settled on 3.5% fuel increase all WOT( no wb just feel and knock log). Rev limit in drive set to 6200. Shift firmness increased and adaptive reset.......

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
My test results with the 91 octane tune on my Mopar '11 Charger were not impressive. I picked up 1/10th of a second and 1/2 mph in my drag strip testing (using DA corrected times).

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
I installed the 91 octane tune without any issues.
However, I didn't notice much of a difference on my test drive. I am heading to the track tonight to see what can be documented.

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
So I was doing some thinking about all of this and decided instead of just complaining, I could try and do something active. I am thinking of writing a letter/email to mopar/Chrysler and let them know our frustration. I would like to get as many MOPAR owners to sign it as possible. Before I start ...

Re: Mopar 11 Chargers
At this point, I really have to question how much effort has been put into finding a solution. It's been noted that you are waiting for Chrysler to release some updated files. What if they don't? Is there a workaround? I know a Mopar '11 Charger was offered up on multiple occasions for testing and ...
