I am not familiar with that CAI, but if they sell it as no tune required, it should be fine.
The CAI tune you see is for a kit we used to sell ourselves.

Yes, either 8245 or 9245 will allow you to do this.

what year is the truck?

this is likely related to the pcm having been previously tuned with something else that changed the bootloader and did not put it back to stock.
We can get the bootloader back the way it needs to be if you are willing to send the pcm in for us to do so, but unfortunately that's the only solution ...

it can often be done through a custom tune but the predX doesnt offer custom tuning today.

just be mindful of which device you use to make changes that can be done on both modules.
