Hmm, I know we used to do an S&B tune for the Mustang but not sure if we ever had one for the F150.
See if one of the intakes we offer a tune for is similar in design to yours, and load that one and see hw it does. I have a feeling your S&B may be a no tune required intake though.

yes, mds is only active under light load, low throttle conditions. once you give it some throttle or cruise up a hill, it will disable MDS and use 8 cylinders.

It will make less power than stock if running 87 on our 93 tune as the knock sensors will constantly be pulling more timing than needed.

give us a call to get it reset.
if the tune was loaded and running fine, it shouldn't have changed after a part failure.
Kinda makes me think there is another problem somewhere if its not running now.

no, the provided tunes generally lean the mixture a bit from factory. You should probably consider a custom tune to properly dial it in.

my guess is its not talking to the car at all.
go to the vehicle info menu and see if it can display the VIN in real time.
