UPDATE:
Took the car to the dealership and they said my speed sensors were going bad. I haven't had the issue come up again since the sensors were replaced.

Re: Vehicle System Error without tune
This morning I started the vehicle with the usual single chime and same error as I've been experiencing, but the car would not shift out of 2nd gear . I tried using the click-shift as well and it was completely unresponsive.

Vehicle System Error without tune
Three days ago I returned my 2012 Charger SRT8 to stock for a roadtrip. Yesterday after I got back, and without retuning the car, when I crank it up I hear a chime and the display shows "ACC Unavailable Vehicle System Error" and the traction control, ABS, and FCW lights stay illuminated. My inTune ...

Rev Limit in Neutral
For the '12 Dodge Challenger RT auto, we're limited to 4000 RPM in neutral. The adjustment slider on the inTune only goes from -600 to +600. Is this really all we can adjust while in neutral? Can we not set the neutral rev limiter closer to what it is while in drive (~5600 RPM)?

Re: 2012 Challenger R/T tune tips
I have performed quite a few tune writes on my Challenger with all of the above as well, but I still experience write failures about 30-50% of the time. Hopefully with more information they can get this pinned down and solved. Thanks for keeping at it DS.

Re: Rev Limiter functionality?
I wasn't aware. I noticed that when I adjusted the rev limiter to 6100, the car would continue to redline around 5700 or so like the adjustment was never made. I noticed this in both D and autostick modes. Maybe the adjustment never went through like I experienced earlier with MDS?
I'll try it ...

Rev Limiter functionality?
Just wondering if we're close to getting the rev limiter adjustment functional.
Thanks for keepin' at it!

Re: Changing Parameters Only, MDS, Firmness
As of the last update, my DCX only shows Tire Size, Traction Control, and Shift Firmness options under the Quick Adjust menu. It looks like MDS would require a tune to be written whether you're modifying the stock tune or loading a performance tune.

Re: MDS disable and rev limiter
I first installed the 91 tune without any parameter changes. Once this successfully went through, I made the parameter changes including rev limit to 6100, MDS off, shift firmness on, and throttle boost +5%. Then this rewrote the tune and it said it completed successfully. I'm not sure if this ...

MDS disable and rev limiter
On my '12 Challenger RT, I installed a 91 tune with shift firmness, rev limiter bumped to 6100, and the MDS disabled but I can still feel/hear the cylinders shutting off. Is this a known issue or anyone else come across this as well?
I also have a question about the rev limiter... is it supposed to ...

Re: 2012 dodge challenger 5.7 problem
This has no effect on the issue that I've experienced. Whether cycling on/off before or after hitting the check mark on the intune, I've had it fail to read/write the tune. The issue is intermittent and I've been unable to find a rhyme or reason as to what causes it.

Re: 2012 dodge challenger 5.7 problem
Using the key.
I've noticed that every time it fails to write, the small red light on the left side of the dash never goes out. This light will only come on when the intune is either reading or writing a tune and when it goes through successfully, the red light goes off right at 100%. I immediately ...

Re: 2012 dodge challenger 5.7 problem
I'm having the same issue with my '12 Challenger RT. Unit is updated but will get the "Failed to Write" error intermittently anytime the unit is writing a tune (including restoring the backup). At this point the ignition becomes unresponsive and you must start the entire process over and hope it ...
