Mike, would a 91 octane setting work well on a 300C 5.7 CAI with 89 octane gas by removing 3% spark across the board? Any other recommendations?

Could I, or could a CMR tuner, install a performance tune, leaning out the a/f ratio and adding spark to increase h.p. I have a 185 degree thermostat and mopar CAI, but all other mechanicals are intact. Reggie

I have a stock car with the sole exceptions of a Mopar CAI, which I understand adds no horsepower and has no other advantage, and a 185 degree thermostat. Nothing else. Pure stock otherwise.

Mike, how about my post about the DS tuner not working and going into "this tool is now under remote control...? It's driving me crazy. YOu'd think an engineer could install a simple upgrade, but his unit won't let me install on my '06 300C 5.7!

Now, the DS tells me "This tool is now under remote control..." What the Heck does this mean?

I have tried it multiple times, but it won't load the upgrades, and when I try it stops, so I abort after multiple tries. The DS won't load onto my car without the upgrades? Any suggestions?
