Ok. I'm glad you got it figured out, the REAL problem. And you're right, they need to allow the tool to restore the factory settings after their tool messes them up. And the tool needs to restore the factory settings WITHOUT the need of a tune being always loaded to regain the functions. Hopefully ...

I just upgraded to 11c in my 2011 Jeep wrangler and now I have these problems too.
Lost dash settings, no compass, airbag light on, crazy rear wiper, no auto headlights etc.

Exact reason I haven't touched shit since my dealer reflash and quick adjust for tire size. The one time I did it locked my jeep up and had to pull the negative lead for 20 min. Luckily it fixed my issue. Tired of not being able to TUNE with my TUNER!

still no support on this? i know AeroForce gauges can display trans temp, torque and slippage. wondering if you'll ever get these features, at least Temp. added to your list of displays. would be a nice feature, esp out here in AZ.

Well I was successful in loading a quick adjust. changed tire sizes and that's it. all factory functions still work after the dealer reflash and quick adjust. Haven't tried loading an actual DS tune yet. probably not going to now that it's the weekend.
