Re: New Predator

"You seem to be missing the main point here.

You cant install headers on a car, then magically use them on another car, without taking them off the first car. Right? Do you agree?"

Absoutely not. Headers are a product I can touch and hold. A tune is nothing but bits, 0s and 1s read by an assembly ...

Re: New Predator

And what does the mentality of other people paying for something have to do with me? if they want to pay it, then that is their right. if you want to charge it, that is your right. And it's my right to refuse it and complain. I honor your rights, their rights, and you should honor mine.

Teh fact ...

Re: New Predator

"if the vehicle is lost or stolen, we reset the device for free with provided proof from the insurance or similar.

We are not in business to rip anyone off."

Sorry, too many conflicting posts from different people here. Not sure which are true.

I don't believe you are in the "business" to rip ...

Re: New Predator

"your friend sold you a locked tuner.
your issue is with him, or yourself for not doing due dilligence. Funny how its our problem when you could have asked up front, and decided to leave the used, locked tuner, in your buddys vehicle."

Wrong. He already gave me my money back. i have no issue with ...

Re: New Predator

I've accomplished much. I just got off the phone with SCT. They have a similar policy, except they waive this policy under certain conditions. I asked them the same question I asked you. What if my car was stolen or wrecked. They waive the fee. You ignored that question which makes me believe you ...

Re: New Predator

You guys are making absoutlely no sense.

1. Quoted "you havent purchased anything". I have purchased the product, just NOT FROM YOU. AND you are suggesting a "purchase of a secret password"

2. No bribary? Great, please send me the password and we'll be done. If you ASK for $129.00 for a "word ...

Re: New Predator

You are urging me to pay $129.00 for a secret password which was built into the device for the purpose of getting $129.00. No. I will not pay for a "word", I "pay" for services rendered or products received. Not for "secret passwords".

Over thinking? There isn't anything to overthink. It's quit ...

Re: New Predator

So all you should have said was it cost $129 for you to tell me the secret on how to unlock the tool?

Wasnt' that easy enough? I am typically an indiviudal who likes to be fair. Willing to pay people for work rendered. I am a computer enginner for 23 years. I wan't going to attempt this, but since ...

Re: Multiple licenses

Option in the future? On my post earlier today, I was told I had to pay $129 for an "additional license" so I could use it on two cars. When I want to remove the old car that no longer exists and only use it on one car. So to me, I have to purchase an additional license so it will have to be used on ...

Re: New Predator

That doesn't sound logical what-so-ever. First, the old car is gone, there is no 2nd car. And what you are referring is, that you will call me and give me some info that will "allow" 2 cars to be used? Is this the caase? Will I still be able to tune his old mustang along with my mustang? I don't ...

Re: New Predator

OK.

Then what am I actually paying $129.00 for? Information? I figured you were charging me $129 for labor to reset it. I figured that to be high, but nobody should work for free. But, a $129 phone call to provide me information on property I own seems a bit steep. It does not appear to be a user ...

Re: New Predator

I have to fill out an return authorization form, pay $129.00, ship it back to you, wait up to 30 days, then wait for it to be shipped back to me? I'm willing to pay $129.00, but it seems like an awful lot of trouble to use your product. Why wouldn't I just go buy a new Bama SF3 which I can use today ...

New Predator

I received a Predator from a friend who used to own the same year Mustang as I. He sold his Mustang years ago and has had this sitting around. I tried to use it on mine, however it said my car was not in the database. I looked online and noticed I need to update the revision software. I have got ...
