RE: denali 6.2 tuning

If you are logging in realtime (do not have to keep the log) just watch it for a few seconds every now and again..

or better yet have someone else watch it...

Then take an approx average...

Should become pretty obvious.. If you are locking in at ~0.78 then just move injector slope -1 and you will ...

RE: denali 6.2 tuning

is that .78 an average? or is it a one time look?

If it is the average over that RPM range you can change injector slope -1 and you should be dialed in..

That easy...

You will have to drive 50 miles or so for it to fully take affect but after that you should be good.

You were already pretty ...

RE: denali 6.2 tuning

You can just do more.. That is all.. The diablo tune is good the dial in is better..

Up to you if you would like to leave it at that.

Really is not as complicated as it sounds.

For instance you can have someone monitor your LTFTs as you drive. Just start the engine and plu the predator into its ...

RE: Just Checking

If you are constantly changing throttle position you will see changes in the LTFTs ...

So your info at 1800 or so should be good. Be sure to be a little over 1800 so your LTFTs are dialed in at cruise.. You can drop a gear if need be.

2K I think is the preferrable area.. however 1800 - 2500 should ...

RE: denali 6.2 tuning

Here is the sticky he is referring to.. It is telling you how to set your LTFTs or Long Term Fuel Trims..

After this you will feel quite boost and and will likely get better gas mileage.

RE:

First of all.. The file that you posted was the dataviewer file NOT the exported .csv file.

That is ok I was able to look at it anyways.

Your Bank 1 LTFTs are on average ~9.3 and Bank 2 are at ~8.1 on average.

So I would change the injector slope -9 and have a go at that..

Lew will probably back ...

You need to visually inspect your rear end (yeah I said it that way on purpose :)) and see if there is any noticeable areas which could be hitting. Are you hitting the bump stops?

ESP,

I have an 07 NBS Crew with the Vortec Max 6.0L, CAI and Predator.

To be honest with the base tune that I installed (I only installed the 87 tune as I wanted to run 87 go figure :)) I did not FEEL too much. I could tell the Throttle was more responsive and I also felt only a minor get up and ...

Rick,

Monte gave you the correct answer. You can NOT judge torque and HP just from advancing/retarding the timing. At some point in the course of you advancing timing there will be a point of diminishing returns.

so it would/could look alot like this:

increase 1 degree - power better
increase ...

RE: 2004 GTO Transmission Problems- Predator tune PLEASE HEL

DO NOT GO TO YOUR DEALER WITH THE TUNE INSTALLED!

You will HAVE TO reset back to factory prior to going in if you feel the need.

The first thing they will do is put it on a Tech II and find out if the ECM has been reprogrammed. THEN AND ONLY THEN will they work on the machine under warranty.

Hope ...

RE: What can I expect?

You would just need to follow the stickys on this forum to set up your LTFTs or Long Term Fuel Trims.

After that the 87 Tune is pretty stout..
