I had the dealer reset my cars computer, on the stock factory tune of course. My speedo was reading about 7MPH over, they put it on the dyno, and while the speedo read 40MPH, the car was actually only going 33MPH.
So, when I re-tune it, I am not going to mess with the tire and axle settings at all ...

Re: Speedo off
I have the same exact issue, when I put my car back to stock, the speedo reads faster than I am going, and I have the stock wheels and gears in my car. I went in, once I re-tuned my car, and put the stock tire size in, and stock axle ratio of 2.65, figuring it could't hurt anything, and now, when I ...

Re: Original Backup has the wrong Tire Size
I have the same issue, when returning to the factory stock tune, my speedo reads higher/faster that it should, also making the odometer log miles on my car faster than it should. I am actually taking my car to the dealer tomorrow, on a factory rune of course, and having them see if the can reset my ...

Re: rough idle and check engine light came on
This may sound like a dumb question, but did you run your tank down to near empty, and then fill up with some 91 octane BEFORE you installed the tune?

Re: Diablo tune not a 93 octane tune?
Thanks for the reply garret. I did just that, put it back on the 91 octane tune, and did some data logging. I have NO clue what and where to look and how to read the log in the dataviewer :|

Re: Diablo tune not a 93 octane tune?
Can anyone clarify anything for me please? I know, I see the Diablo tune says 93 octane on the diablo website, but why would my car seem to run OK on it using 91?

Re: Diablo tune not a 93 octane tune?
Anyone? the 93 octane "Daiblo" tune doesn't' say you have to run 93 octane in its list of options, and on my tuners, it isn't called the 93 octane "Diablo tune" but just the "diablo tune", and yet the 91 performance tune says it is required to run 91 octane?

Diablo tune not a 93 octane tune?
As you can see in the pics below, the list of tunes available and what the Diablo tune says it does...nowhere does it mention that I need to use 93 octane in the Diablo tune like the 91 octane tune says, you need to use 91 octane before you install it.

Re: My first tune, and a few questions
I am still getting some knock under harder acceleration, again, not bad, but noticeable. I am going to do some data logging, and see if I can figure it out, with that said, I would love to get a custom tune done now that I have my CAI installed. Any info on custom tunes would be appreciated!

Re: Just installed DCX in 2013 Ram 1500 I have a couple Ques
It won't have to install the whole tune again, just the changes you made, and I know, it asks "install 87 octane tune" but it will just install whatever parameter you changed. I know, because I did the same to my car, I installed the 91 octane tune, and went in to make some changes, and it asked ...

Re: My first tune, and a few questions
you shouldn't be able to hear knock, but you can log to make sure ;)
What would cause the knock?
I restored my car to original, no knock now, so it must be because of the octane level is contaminated from the leftover 87 in my tank. I only restored it because I have to take it to the dealer ...
