Re: New Ranger update
can't believe you're still trying. I sent mine back because I verified that there was no affect on anything on my 2011 Ranger

Re: Verify changes?
tell the tuner that you have tires that are twice as big or small as what you really have and then drive down the road and see if your speedo changed. that's how I found that mine was not doing anything (and changed the shift point to 3k didn't make a difference either)

Re: 2011 Ranger tire rpm and engine rpms do nothing
well, rats. I already sent tuner back. doesn't cost me a dime to reorder another one. I would be happy to reorder another one but I will be testing the tuner (eg, I will test every adjustable parameter to ensure that the tuner does in fact affect the truck). should I reorder another one?

Re: Ford ranger tune
I am in the same situation.
Diablosport folks, it is time for me to challenge you to a dual!
1. I will fill my tank with 93 octane and have it dyno'd (need to find dyno in my area)
2. I will load the diablotune and have it dyno'd again.
3. if there is not a 10+hp difference then Diablosport company ...

2011 Ranger tire rpm and engine rpms do nothing
2011 Ford Ranger 4.0 4x4 3.73 and aftermarket 265/75/16
1. installed tuner, had to correct ratio to 3.73, updated tire rpm to 638
is speedo right? tough to tell.
2. for giggles, I changed my axle ratio to 1 (and saved)
my speedo did not change. wow, this should have made a difference
3. put axle ...

Re: Ford ranger tune
I'm not sure why I had such a hard time with update/registration but Garrett bailed me out. MY SPEEDO IS FINALLY RIGHT!!! YAY!!! I put on taller tires last year. intune said my stock gears were 4.10 but it's wrong, my stock gears are 3.73... changed that and my taller tire rpm and got it all fixed ...

Re: Ford ranger tune
oh no... ... just got mine yesterday and I am having a hard time just registering my product. I will give it 2 hours of my time and if I don't (a) get an accurate speedo and (b) actually notice a 'seat of the pants' performance difference ( I know I won't get 50 hp ... .. ...) then what recourse do ...
