No, you cannot use both.
What I would suggest is to either remove the chip and tune the car with the Predator, or have the chip reflashed by a CMR dealer to correct the speedo.

There should be no need to update the tool if it is already installed on the vehicle. If the tool does not allow you to install the tune, then it will need to be updated. The latest revision is 8r14 and you would see this when you power up the tool, once the main menu appears, at the top it will rea...

There are no changes to the tunes that I am aware of.
It is always a good idea however to have the latest software available on the Predator, but updating is not necessary.
