2005 Dodge Magnum RT 7135 9r28 Update Issue

Post by BROCKET »

I updated my ds downloader to newest version. Reset my original backup. Then downloaded 9r28 update. Installed got an error stating I could not flash serial or something like that. Found on forum I needed 9r28l. So downloaded it, used legacy connect to install. All went well and installed to predator correctly. Now when I plug it into car I get the following error when I try to install a performance tune:

Does not support Calid: 04896415AK

What should I do now? I went ahead and unplugged the predator from the car pending answer to this thread. HELP, is appreciated.

Thank you

You have the same problem as I do. We can't use 9r28 or 9r28l. We're stuck with 9r12. Just reinstall that. :(

Thanks, that sucks, I was hoping to try the throttle boost function on the new update. So is it a year thing that prevents us from using it?

Oh BTW, thanks for the super quick response. Just curiuos if they plan on updating it to allow my Cal Id or if 9r12 will just be the latest revision for me forever?

Yeah it basically the years. The "l" CROM is limited and only has the CalIDs for 09-10 vehicles. We can't use the full size CROMs because our older Predators have less memory then the newer ones and the CROM is too big.

No idea what they're planning on doing. Its looking like 9r12 may be it for us. :(
