Red Blinking (screen stay blank)

Just got a new Trinity to replace old one. When I receive it, the screen does not turn on, it stay black, but the side LED shifted from first red till the last green. Right after that, the red LED (the 1st / top) keep blinking but the screen stay off. Is it a defective product? I connect it to USB with my laptop by my laptop never "found" a new device.

hold down the left directional button while powering it up and hold it until it boots fully, and see if it gets to the vehicle selection menu.
