Some of them are still built in Germany, especially the cars (my 540i was built in Dingolfing, Germany). Its mostly the SUVs that are built in the US. I've been to BMWs South Carolina facility, and its still run very German, even though its in the US.

I believe I read that a good amount of the Beemers are actually built in Thiland, Myanmar, or Singapore. I don't remember exactly where. A lot of the Mercs are built in India. The only problem I have (beside the fact that they all are not built in this country by American workers) is that "cheap labor" is not neccessarily "good labor." When you spend that kind of money for a car it should be assembled by experienced, capable, and dedicated workers.

BTW, Kias aren't rice burners. More like "Kimche." (South Korean)

I am doing another bump for some justice.

Myself and many others at the Optima forum are in dire need of great news in regards to a tune made by DS... Is there any?

Nothing will happen anytime soon, we are launching our latest applications soon for the 2011+ Chrysler/Dodges that have been begging for a tuner for the past 2+ years.

Development is always ongoing, and this is still on our list...

It's been a few months since I bumped this. DS, is there any new word? The 2.0 liter turbos are hitting the market at an insane speed. I hope you guys take advantage of this and build a tuner!!!!!

The Genesis is one of the next 2 platforms to be supported. No idea if its going to be V6 only or if they plan on supporting the Turbo 4s as well.

Hyundai/kia support would be awesome. Seems like this platform is gaining popularity fast and I get lots of requests.

In fact.... I got asked by the local club to host a tuner they want to fly in from sfr to tune some kias and hyundais.

Is that all it takes to be supported, just put the PCM on your desk? I'll be in Florida the end of next week, maybe I should throw an S63 PCM on your desk too.

rofl, it has to be on my desk, and we all have to stare at it really hard for a few days ;)

Nah, but we have to start somewhere.
Sending them to one of our engineers next week to start wiring them up and tracing the flash processes....

One more here who will buy an Optima 2.0T tuner at first drop.

I already run a PowerPuck in my wife's CRD Jeep and have been more than happy with your products.
