SEMA vehicles?

Post by mikel »

Diablosport attends the SEMA show in Las Vegas every year, and we always like to have a vehicle in the booth to represent what we do.

In the past we have had some pretty cool custom rides from one of the first blown/stroked Challenger SRT8s (Trojans car), to a sick JGCSRT8 with tons of power, slammed on one off coil overs, custom wheels, 4 Recaro race seats with harnesses...crazy stuff. Last year we had a heavily customized Jeep Wrangler that drew tons of attention.

We are always on the lookout for an awesome ride to showcase in our booth. I can't offer anything more than the awesome international exposure you get from being a featured booth vehicle, but if you are interested it is a great opportunity.

My hopes for SEMA 2014 is to find a clean 2015 Mustang (Turbo or GT), a HellCat Challenger, or a new Z06. Heavy modifications are not required, but they don't hurt.

If you are interested or know someone who may be, please feel free to have them email me, at mlitsch @ diablosport.com, and we'll see if we can make it happen!!

Here are some of the rides we've had in the past:

Overhaulings AJ in the booth signing posters of the car and herself:

Matt Snows Boss 302 Laguna Seca:

Last years wild Wrangler;

One of my fav's, the nasty Cherokee SRT8:

Hellcat and Z06 likely won't be out by SEMA. No idea about the Mustang, don't follow them, couldn't care less.

Z06 is certainly tight, but stranger things have happened.

I see HellCat guys claiming they will have cars in 3-4 weeks...I dont know what the official dates are but I think they will be on the streets by SEMA.

4 weeks will be a week before SEMA. But I'm not seeing it happening. Especially that guy who says he ordered one. He ordered a 6 speed. 8 speeds will be out first. All the press cars are 8 speeds, and Chrysler is pushing it. Even if production starts by SEMA, there aren't gonna be any manuals out by then. He's dreaming, or his dealer is.

Why don't you give Josh Towbin a call? He's got that "King Of Cars" Dodge dealer in Henderson, and you KNOW he's always up for free publicity. Perhaps he'll have a Hellcat you could borrow?

I don't know what name he goes by. He's the fat guy who thinks he's black and owns the dealership.

before I ever saw the show, I remember seeing his 30 min infomercials late night on local Vegas TV when we'd be stumbling back into the hotel room at some god awful hour of the morning. He might be the first person to turn in infomercial into a reality show, but it was hectic.
