I had the same problem with my 2006 after taking it to the dealer. Have you tried using the predator on the truck after you got it back from the dealer. If the dealer updated your calibration like they did mine you will have to update your predator to the 9r12 crom and there are instructions on this website to do this. You can also get a custom tune that will help you get most of your power and mileage back. I drove 350 miles on the highway and averaged 21.5mpg with mine after the update. Good Luck!

I have downloaded and installed 9r12. How would I go about getting a custom tune? Thanks jgrappone!!!

jgrappone,

Are you getting the 21+ mpg's using the 9r12 crom, or do you have a custom tune? Mike sent me an older crom (8r17) that I'm trying.....So far, my mileage is a little better compared to the 9r11, but nothing close to what you are getting.

Thanks!

You can get custom tunes at www.tuningsuperstore.com , I am not running a custom tune yet. My calibration is the VXCF9 strategy and I am running a crom sent to me from tuning super store. My 21.5 is on the highway with the 100 hp program not pulling anything but loaded for vacation. This also off the truck computer and not hand calculated.

What 3 tunes for 100 bucks would you guys recommend from tuningsuperstore.com? I am looking for economy first and foremost. Will haul a gooseneck with cattle ever so often. Go down the highway quite frequently just not as much as I run around town. Not into getting on it hard.

I have purchased a custom tune and got between 22 and 24 mpg on highway. No joke! Amazing stuff.
