Rev 9r08
I have U7186 with 9r08 rev. I see it isn't on the download list anymore. Why was it removed? Is there something wrong with this rev? I'm not sure I want to update to the latest rev as I'm hearing people are have problems with it.

Only problems with new rev are if you have a very old tool that wont load it.

RE: Rev 9r08
Ok...not listed in the updates list anymore. Since people are having problems with the lates rev for the 7186 I guess I'll just have to stay with the unknown rev till one the works shows up.

RE: Rev 9r08
Thanks but I have that rev installed. I was just wondering why it was dropped off the list of previous revisions. They have previous and later revisions listed but not the 08.
I was going to install the latest updated rev but it seems to be causing trouble with units around the same age as mine so I guess I'll wait and see how it settles out.

RE: Rev 9r08
I have been noticing some strange things going on with my truck since I installed the 08 rev.
Sometimes the truck feels really light on the throttle and other times it seems to take more throttle to move the truck. I also see different egts with the differences in throttle response. It doesn't seem to matter which tune I'm running. I usually run the 120 but don't run it hard just daily driver but like now I have the tow tune in and notice the same throttle responses.

Interesting, I have been running that 120 tune for the last 2 years with the same engine you have and haven't noticed anything different other then a year ago I was in Upstate NY where it got below 0 in the winter and rarely hot at all. Now being here in San Antonio, TX my truck really doesn't like this heat and of course I don't like it either.

Re: RE: Rev 9r08
That is odd, that tune has not been changed/updated for years, mainly due to the fact that it runs perfectly in our 06 LLY as wellTrotorx2 wrote:I have been noticing some strange things going on with my truck since I installed the 08 rev.
