Update needed?

I have a 2007 Duramax with Predator U7186 purchased in 2007 also. Last month I took my truck to the dealership for the 0403 EGR issue. They programmed the computer for the EGR valve and I guess everything else was updated since this was my first trip to the dealership since I purchased the truck in July 2007.
I reinstalled the stock program before taking it to the dealership. Do I need to update my Predator before trying to reinstall? I've read horror stories about trucks going WOT after the dealership worked on their trucks.

Yes, it is a good idea to update before reinstalling the tune.

mikel, Thanks for the quick reply! I'll get the cable and update my Predator. Hopefully I won't need too much assistance
