Ok, I've got a 2008 6.4 6 spd manual. picked up a u 7164 from a guy (he had a 08 f350 as well but auto) , yes returned to stock. first it said device not compatible or whatever, searched forums, found it may need updated, so I tried the 9r17 file, then the 9t18 I believe it was, and it is saying device not compatible with vehicle again and giving me the com number or whatever it is.. been a diesel mech for years and tuned all my diesels with chips vs programmers, ol 7.3's. what needs to be done here, starting to get on my nerves! Does the device need reset etc? Please help me out here. heard diablo has great cust service thanks y'all!

no, te calibration is shows that is not supported when you try to tune it.

Predator does not support this vehicle... call with calid... then you hit continue and it give you 8u7a-14c204-hg... that is all. This is what happens after selecting performance tuning. Then agree disclaimer and manual trans

The tuner says u7164-9t18a.crom the latest update that one of your guys has sent me and is not working. What is the issue here this tuner was just working on another 2008 6.4.

your truck likely has an old cal that we removed support for since they were recall updates.

try this update.

yes, having it updated would likely be the best option, truck may run better overall.

OK, thats an issue with some newer predators, you'll need to get the truck updated in this case.
