IMO, ANY cam swap will require custom tuning.
if you are looking to avoid custom tuning for whatever reason, you should avoid a cam swap ;)

Also, I strongly believe for the most part that if it doesn't require tuning, it is not at all worth the effort of ripping your motor apart to install it.

Understand, but will it run with the 93 Octane tune until I can get someone to tune it?

I dont know. I highly doubt it.
Even if it does, its likely going to want to stall and run rather poorly at best.

The 93 tune make no changes relevant to a cam swap, so it will run no differently than it will on the stock tune.

Should be able to get a base email tune from your tuner prior to the install to at least try to make it drivable.

What changes does the canned 93 Octane tune actually change concerning the engine and add on modifications?

Changes include WOT spark and WOT fueling adjustments, torque management, and more.
