i expect the tool to be asking for anb update where it will request a stock file from our server, but its not there.
Im going to reset it. Please update once then try tuning it again. If it still says its previously tuned, update it again the try tuning after that.
Thank you for your assistance.
Do you want me to put the unlocked PCM in the car and then re-tune? Is there anything I need to do after you reset it? Do you need me to add files to Trinity?
Tried to use original Ignition account…didn’t work….unrecognized device, so I then used the more recently downloaded Ignition.
6 files to update…it was slow to download file 10/11
Files installed onto device
Ignition screen said device is up to date, but didn't show "featured downloads"
Unplugged device from computer
Plugged into car with unlocked PCM, tuned to 91 octane, device said it’s been tuned before with a different device. Unplugged device from car as per the device.
Plugged device back into computer, ran Ignition, says there are updates
Hit “yes” to update but Ignition says “Attention” Unsupported File for your calibration not found. Please contact tech support”.
I hit continue and it downloaded a file onto the device. Device restarted automatically. Ignition screen went white, then said that device is now up to date. Device screen returned to start screen.
Unplugged from computer and plugged it back into car.
Followed all screen prompts
Hit “tune” button…read stock file..then got “PCM has been tuned before by a Diablosport product”. I hit the ‘continue’ button. Then got “please disconnect the t2 from the vehicle at this time. Connect the t2 to a pc with internet access and run the updater application. I hit ‘continue’ and get “one of the ECU’s in the vehicle has been previously tuned with a tuning device. Please restore it to stock condition and then begin anew”.
I plugged the device back into the computer and started Ignition. It says there are updates available, etc. I hit “yes”. which said, and goes back into the “unsupported file for your calibration not found. Please contact tech support” I hit continue and it downloaded a file onto the device. Device restarted automatically. Ignition screen went white then said that device is now up to date. Device screen returned to start screen.
That’s where I’m at. Attached is the info.xml file
save the attached file to the i2 drive and let it import the file, then go to the vehicle and it will prompt you to load this in the tune menu.
Once loaded its back to stock and you can retune.
I think we are in business! I did what ya said and then did an update after that. Plugged 'er back into the car and was able to restore back to stock.
Many thanks and cheers! Now, I have to do an O2 sensor job. Once I complete that, I'll give it a nice tune!
I have a 2021 dodge Durango rt AWD. I just purchased the Diablo tune. The current mods I have on my Durango is: AFE cold air intake, msd ignition coils, bbk 85 mm throttle body, pedal commander, and corsa catback exhaust. I have a granetelli 185 deg thermostat and want to install it. Would the regular 93 tune support the thermostat or would it have to be a custom tune? Let me know thanks
Having a similar issue to the original poster, had and i3, now stolen, purchased a new one but giving me errors when trying to “re-tune” the truck I Hit “tune" button... read stock file. then got "PCM has been tuned before by a Diablosport product". I hit the continue button. Then got "please disconnect the i3 from the vehicle at this time. Connect the i3 to a pc with internet access and run the updater application. I hit
'continue' and get "one of the ECU's in the vehicle has been previously tuned with a tuning device. Please restore it to stock condition and then begin anew". Issue is I have a Mac the the “ignition” program does not run. Any ideas?

Getting ignition running will certainly resolve this, for now post your info.xml file from the t2 drive here and I will get you going.

Your mac likely needs to be on the latest OS for it to work, thats the most common issue we see. if thats not it, give our support team a call to try to sort it out please, 561-908-0040.

save the attached file to the t2 drive and let it import the file then go to the vehicle and select the tune menu and it will prompt you to load this update to set the pcm back to stock, then you can tune it.
