Trinity/Jeep Wrangler problems

Post by elmo4x4 »

I purchased a new Trinity as soon as they were released back in 2012. Its worked ok up until today. I have some recalls and an ABS light issue so I planned to drop it off at the dealership this week. Serial 6M5JAA1-2 Part diablo_dcx_gas. Version: v.1r13i I uninstalled the programmer and figured I'd do the updates etc in preparation. Now my compass isn't working, and more importantly here in South Louisiana, NO A/C!!! Can anyone give any current insight to this? I found some older threads but no one offered a true fix for this issue. Thanks in advance. Forgot to mention the Trouble Code is U1113 Air intake temperature circuit (L/C) open/short.

so this happened after restoring to stock?
Can you clear the code?
Maybe try disconnecting the battery, drain voltage, then reconnect.

Yes, it happened in that process. I removed the programmer and did the update to it. I then attempted to load the vehicle update that was now in the Trinity. Upon noticing the lack of ac and compass I uninstalled the programmer again with the same result. No compass and no AC. It is currently sitting with the stock program, battery disconnected with the leads tywrapped together and the TIPM uninstalled for a true total drain. I plan to attempt reassembly etc this afternoon and will update with my results. Edit: Also the trouble code will not clear.

Update: Absolutely no change. Battery was disconnected and leads tuwrapped together for two days. Reinstalled everything and the same symptoms and trouble code are present. What’s the next step in this process? :crashing:

At this point it may be best to get the vehicle to a dealer for a reconfig to resolve this, and we'll reimburse it up to $150.
