LOL, yup, had a manual here for a week, the damn thing made 700(!) RWHP with the tune, its unreal.
I'm just happy to know there is an OEM M6 available that can live at 4000+ lbs and 650+ ft/lbs ;)

It would be hard to justify screwing up a 100,000.00 car for a 400.00 programmer if things go bad , don't ya think?

Well....I have yet to meet a $100K Hellcat ;), and we dont 'screw up' cars here, we do have a very good idea of whats going on before we start editing the calibration.
The $100K Z06 we borrowed in the same manner left here nothing but better than when it arrived :)

We were tuning at the time $150K Ford GTs 10 years ago...in the end its still an engine, and a PCM, just wrapped in a pricey package ;)

Thanks

Oh no, you might screw something up. Wah, wah, wah. :wam:

This is the automotive aftermarket. You pay to play. Not willing to do so, go drive a boring freaking Accord or something. You lose your man card and your enthusiast card. Real enthusiasts have no problem taking risks for progress. Go ask the guy who loaned Hennessey his $2M Veyron to get a tune done if he ever had a second thought. He didn't because its progress. If DiabloSport was willing, I'd have happily loaned them my $99K X5M or my $103k 750Li (or even now, my $63k 335GT). Its a non-issue. As long as things get done, its worth it. If something breaks, BFD.

And finally, if you pay $100k for a Hellcat, you are the dumbest son of a bitch in history. Its tough to get the sticker over $70k. And even at that price there are quicker, less powerful cars available. Once you get to $100k, you're in a whole different league. One that leaves the Hellcat in the dust, looking like the glorified $30k car that it is.
