no, there is no trade-in program for the inTune...

I just bough an intune for my 04 GTO, LS1. It says it saved the factory program, but it dosent let me program any tunes though. It also wont let me do much on my pc, something about need to be logged in as administrator. Lol i am the administrator. Tryed on my other pc's said the same. I spent almost 400 on this thing.. HELP..

As far as the Administrator thing goes ....You must right click on the inTune setup icon (Setup.exe file) then a popup window will open and in the list click/double click the "Run as an Administrator" This will give the program permission to run as an adminstrator.

As for the part of not being able to tune your car... well I don`t see it on this list : http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... ic&t=32704

the 2004 GTO is not supported at all by the inTune yet man....

it will be supported eventually, but as of right now it is not, and I don't have an ETA of when it will be.

Ok, sweet, got it to work. Thank you. When I bought this the guys at O'rillys said, oh ya this will work on your car. I got it couse im having a prob with my check engine light coming on when I realy get on it. Have had alot of people say its my cold air intake and that a tuner should fix it. I hope they make a toon for it. Thanks again..

Yes a diablosport tuner will fix your problem, unfortunately the product they sold you is not ready for it yet, you can return it and get a Trinity T-1000 will support your car right now! Has alot more features too.

I suppose thares no idea of when they will get the tune ready? I would trade it in but I dont have the extra funds to get the trinity.

I was looking at the available vehicles it supports and it says 06 and o7 silverado with 4.8, I have a 03 with 4.8 will it still work on that?

no... like it says, 06+ is supported... nothing earlier... not yet...

it will be supported eventually, in a future update, but when that update will be available is unknown at that time, there is no ETA.

Wait a minuite Armyman... you said it saved the backup, then in theroy you can use the factory hp tune to modify the parameters to correct the lean condition during WOT and make other adjustments, datalog and clear codes. Maybe Lew could tell for sure, but I think it may be possible this way until the canned tunes are released.
