Mike,
Posted this in the general intune forum yesterday morning, but didn't get an answer. I traded in my 2013 Silverado for a 2015 F150 with the 3.5 Ecoboost and put the tuner to it last Friday. The Intune performed as it should, saved the original tune (just took a little over an hour, but the Intune told me to expect that), and installed the 87 Octane tune. Took it for a test drive Friday evening, and seemed to run just fine. I only drove it one time over the weekend, and it seemed fine. Went out to go to work this morning, and the F150 fired right up, but when I went to back up, I had no gas pedal response whatsoever. Pushing the pedal to the floor did nothing! I turned the truck off and cranked it back up a few times with the same result. I immediately restored the original tune (Intune restored just fine) and the problem went away. I see that Diablosport is having the same problem on the 2015 F150 3.5 Ecoboost using the Trinity (in the Trinity Ford Gas area). Is there a fix for this issue? I'm a little concerned about this since the problem doesn't show up immediately, but will just pop up sometime later. I checked, and there are no trouble codes stored.

Thanks for the response, Mike. I'll keep an eye out on this forum for the resolution, but until then I don't think I'll put the can tune back in my new truck. Loosing all pedal control when you are in the middle of a 3 lane interstate is not a good feeling, and could be dangerous.

VERY VERY Dissappointed.....

I had a tech walk me through download and installation on my 15' F150 Ecoboost. After a couple days by truck lost all pedal / throttle. I contacted the tech - Mike, the same person that walked me through the install, and he informed me Diablo has had problems with F150's. I was extremely mad to know that Diablo was AWARE of the problem and walked me through an install anyway. I was left stranded on I-10 in downtown Houston during morning rush hour. He then proceeded to tell me to return the vehicle to factory settings and return the tuner to dealer. THATS IT...... What a crock and a disappointment that a company would do such a thing knowing there was a problem.

we would have no way of knowing of your truck would act up or not. it has only happened on a very few number of trucks. there are thousands out there with the tune in it and loving them. we are working hard to figure out why its doing it.

if you can hold on to the tool untill we sort it out. the tune on it is incredible. no other tune like in on the market performance wise. it will be worth it once we figure this out.. :D

I installed the intune in my 15 3.5 eco and had no throttle forward or backward. Put factory tune back in and was thinking installing 87 tune again a 2nd time to see if that works. Has anyone tried that. Theres only a 30 day return on this so how long will it take to fix problem. Wish I would have read this forum first because the first post about this was in July.

I've got one of the 2015 F150s with the 3.5 Ecoboost that display the "dead pedal" issue, and it does it in every tune that comes with the Intune. I actually tried every one just to see! I've waited too long, and don't have the option to return the Intune. I'm sure they will figure it out eventually, but if you only have thirty days it might not be a bad idea to return it, watch this board, and wait till the issue is fixed before repurchasing it.

Yup, dead pedal issue as well. In every tune. What a let down. The company continues to advertise that the tuner works on the 2015 f150, but with all the guys posting issues, i doubt its only a few trucks. This sucks. Months since the first report of this problem and still no fix

I tried the 87 octane and 91 octane tune on a 2015 3.5 ecoboost. Both tunes initially took and the performance gains were noticeable. Attempted to track mileage on a highway run but in both cases I lost all gas pedal response the next morning. What is Diablosport doing to resolve the issue? ANYONE out there?
