i-1000 pcm needs calibration

trying to update my 05 ram 1500 5.7l with my diablo i-1000. It allows me to update the TCM, however, for the pcm it reads out that the PCM needs calibration. the Ignition updater reads that it is fully up to date.

please try setting the tcm back to stock then try tuning again.
When it says pcm needs update, click ok then unplug it and post a fresh info file.

i attempted to reset the TCM to stock and it fails every time.

It will go all the way through to the first prompt to either turn the key on/off then the handheld will restart and want to go through the recovery process

please post the current info file from the device.

its looking for an update for hte pcm, update it then reload the update to the truck then you should be able to tune.

thats the problem, it wont update. thats what started this.

It wont tune the PCM (or untune the TCM at this point) because it needs an update.

It wont update so im trying to figure out why

I see the issue.
You have to restore the tcm first.
Go to the restore menu and if it says you need an update, click no or continue to get past it and it should let you restore the tcm.
Then post a new info file or update and see if it pulls the pcm update it needs.
