INTUNE I-1000 HELP PLESAE!!
Hello all,
So here is whats going on...I have had my intune for about 3 years now, used it to program the PCM on my 2010 Challenger R/T to do data logging and then upload a custom tune a few years ago....put it away and haven't used it since
Well last week the cars PCM went out (wouldn't trigger the alternator) and I had to get a new one installed at the dealer. So after it was fixed, I pick up the car and tried to upload my tune on the car (new pcm has factory settings) and now my INTUNE wont work with the car.....
FIRST PROBLEM....
The diablo touch screen sometimes works....sometimes doesn't....took 4 cycles to get it to work....so ill worry about that later since it was working....
SECOND PROBLEM...and way more important...
I get to the write tune page and click it.....then I get a message on the tuner screen that says "PCM Calibration for (insert my vin) might need an update. Check for calibration update?"
So when I hit the green check mark it then says "Please unplug this inTune and then connect it to a PC with internet access (you can unplug this inTune and connect it elsewhere).....if I hit the red X it say "vehicle not supported, contact Diablosport."
I verified that the VIN on the diablo screen is in fact my cars vin so the dealer didn't mess that up. Is the diablo smart enough to tell that this isn't the same PCM as the last one?
PLEEASEEEEEE HELP....Im over $2200 into this all because the car wouldn't charge....I cant afford to buy another tuner right now and my car will run like crap without the custom tune

ok, 2 things.
it needs to be reset, and updated.
Connect it to a pc and run the update agent software and let it update (dont let it run the intune updater)
Then give us a call with it powered up and explain the pcm was replaced and reference that I asked you to call and have it reset, then it should let you tune (after doing a calibration update at the vehicle)

Thank you.....where do I get the update agent software from? Is this a feature on the intune that will go out and find it?

We will have to do the update when i get home tonite....our internet security is very high here at work and I cant do the .exe file here....thing is we are in Kansas so by the time I get home and do the update you will already be closed. Is there anything that you can tell me what to do after the update or is that something that has to be done over the phone?

STILL NOT WORKING....so after running that file and calling in Friday morning to give and receive the code info...i still get the same messages as before about PCM calibration "...please check for update"....any ideas what is going on? Is this intune shot already? I've literally used it to pull 5 logs and set the tune and that's it.

sounds like it just wants you to update to get a new cal for the vehicle.

I think that is what Rich was thinking as well in his email to me this morning....he said hook it back up to the updater program you sent me and run it again.
I couldnt find anywhere to try and update it on the website without using the program that you sent me....so before I messed it up I emailed and posted here lol
