I2010 multibrand usage?

Post by yoheer »

Hi everybody.
I've got an unmarried unit.
Licenses available=1, tuned=0
It is said that i2 can be used with any supported car. No need to buy an extra tuner to use it with chrysler and chevy. Just a licence requiered.
I want to use my i2 i2010 with 03' 5.3 tahoe. I tried and was informed that the cas is not supporter. Some updates were required. I did it with update agent, but the car is still not supported.
How can use it with chevy? Do i need an extra licence?
There is one available licence in it tho

Add a GM license for $149 and you'll be able to tune it.

I had an opportunity to buy only i2010 in my country.
Your technical specialist said that there would be no problems with GM just as is
I wouldn't have bought it if I knew that additional licence is required.
